My wife and I traveled to Norwich CT for a coworkers wedding. While there we went to the Mystic Aquarium and met a very nice penguin named Yellow Blue, then we hung out at the Mohegan Sun Casino and met one of the men who drew the "Yellow Submarine " film, Ron Campbell. Great weekend trip! |

Home Renovation 2005 ~ Phase 1 We've been waiting almost a year, but we've finally gotten the construction started. Here is a visual diary of the progress ( or lack of ) that's been made so far on Phase 1, rebuilding the back of the house. The original porches were made of plywood and a prayer, not a great combination in a hurricane prone area. The roof also gets new beams added inside. |

Home Renovation 2005 ~ Phase 2 Well, it only took 7 months, but the house is complete! There are still a few things that the contractor has to do (god knows when they'll get done), but for the most part it's finished and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Home renovations are a pain in the ass, I strongly advise you consult a professional therapist before you even consider going through this type of thing. Here are the last 175 photos that I took, enjoy! |

The Illustrations of Angus Oblong While I was searching for copyright information for this site, I happened to stumble onto a site that had some of Mr. Oblong's illustrations. This prompted me to visit www.AngusOblong.net, the official website for Mr. Angus Oblong, the creator of the short lived WB series "The Oblongs". While I was there I wrote him an e-mail asking to use a few of the illustrations that I had found on this site. Not only did he agree to allow me to post the illustrations that I had found, he actually sent me a few others to use as well! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, there may be more. |
