I decided to create this site not only as a showcase for my Web Design skills, but also because I thought I needed a web presence. Why do I need a web presence? Read more....

I don't, as a rule make New Year's resolutions, but this year I am going to make a small one which I shall try to keep. I'm going to make an attempt to make updates to the site on a monthly basis. Even if it's a quick hello or birthday wish, every month is going to have -something- in it. My goal on this site is to get all of the D2 Body Armor Items entered and indexed for quick searches and downloads. It's gonna be a big job, but worth it when it's done. I'll tackle the 2,062 ( at last count ) weapons that I have collected, next year. Maybe.

January 2008 I don't, as a rule make New Year's resolutions, but this year I am going to make a small one which I shall try to keep. I'm going to make an attempt to make updates to the site on a monthly basis. Even if it's a quick hello or birthday wish, every month is going to have -something- in it. I'll tackle the 2062 ( at last count ) weapons that I have collected, next year. Maybe. I am currently working out template designs for them, so that I can get them all out as quickly as possible.

February 2008 Happy New Year!!! No, I'm not late or just recovering from my December/January hangover. February 7th, 2008 marks the start of the Chinese New Year. It is the year of the RAT/MOUSE. Some famous people who were born in the Year Of The Rat: Ron Moody, Marlon Brando, Burt Reynolds, Ursula Andress & Englebert Humperdink Rats are said to be imaginative, charming and very generous to those they love - although they do have a tendency to be quick-tempered and over-critical. They are supposed to make good writers, critics and publicists. Ok, so you're not a Rat? Check out this chart , which covers the years 1924 through 2031, and find out what you are.

I've just added a new feature to the site, a world map which will show by means of red pinpoints, the location of the people who've visited the site. This little utility comes to us courtesy of a Net based group called ClusterMaps (and my wife who found it on a friends site). The URL, for anyone who is interested in getting this for their own site, is http://clustrmaps.com/getone.php.

April 2008 Not much to report for this month. Another set of birthdays come and gone (March 28th - mine, March 29th - my sister's). I've added a few more recent photos of the cats, the kittens are fast approaching a Year old now! (can't be possible, but they are..) Clove and Pepper are coming up on 2 years, while Puddin and Pumpkin are going to be 4 this labor day! Misha is going to be 7 this year and our 2 senior citizen kitties, Moo and Woof, will be 14 and 15 years old respectively. As promised, I will be posting pictures of the house, post-renovation.

May 2008 Well, after a lot of discussion and soul searching, a decision has finally been made. Having lived in paradise for the last 4 years, we're going to be heading back to the real world. As much as we love the Island and the weather down here, there are more than just a few things that we simply can no longer do without: adequate medical care, BROADBAND service, more than one store (K-Mart... if they don't have it, you don't get it. Period. And there's A LOT that they don't have...) in which to shop, Burger King, Taco Bell, Handicapped accessible swimming pools, Para-transit facilities, competent computer repair and an overall lack of resources in general. While this move will be much more organized than the last one ( packed, moved and settled in under 3 months...), it's still going to be a pain. I'll try to keep the posts and updates up as often as I can, but expect a few missed months. We're looking to be out by the end of the year, if not sooner. Orlando,FL. - Flagstaff, AZ. & Dallas, TX. are the 3 current front-runners, but wherever we wind up, it will definitely be someplace warm.

June 2008

Finally, as promised, I have begun posting photos of the completed house. I will be taking more and get them up, but here are a few to whet your appetite. If all goes as planned, we could be out of the house and back on the North American continent by this December or January `09. This is the LAST move! I'm getting too old for this shit! Orlando is looking pretty good right now, although I'm pulling for Dallas. We'll see.

July 2008 Once again my Internet access has been interrupted... I had been using my wife's PC while my computer was being repaired. Well, I finally got it back and 99% of it is working great, however, the F**KING thing locks up any time I try to get on the net. SO, I continued to use my wife's PC again to post my website updates...until it blue screened with an Unmountable Drive error. Errrrr. Now my only Internet access is her laptop. I'm going to take my PC back in and have the lockup thing fixed if at all possible. And just why do I tell you all about this? Hey, it's a post, right? Why not? Life sucks and my Computer is going on 9 years old now. Oh well. The house is on the market now and we've had a couple look it over ( they seem interested ). If anyone wants to move to the Caribbean, here's your chance.

August 2008
Tropical storm Fay passed overhead last night, fortunately for me it wasn't even a depression ( or even named yet ) at the time. It was still listed as INVEST L92. It chose to wait until it got closer to Puerto Rico to strengthen into a depression and, finally into a full blown tropical storm. At the rate it's going right now, it will probably develop into a Class 1 or 2 Hurricane before too long and nail Cuba and possibly Florida. I will NOT miss hurricane season, let me tell you. Not preparing for a hurricane is the surest way to tempt fate, and if I hadn't spent $75 on gas for our portable generator ( only 15 Gallons! ) I sure as hell would have needed it. Murphy's Law, right?

September 2008 Well, we've gotten lucky so far. Fay...Hanna and Ike all passed us by and developed into stronger, bigger and Nastier storms than they were down here. Supposedly it's all downhill from here, Sept. 15th is the beginning of the downside of the season, and it's looking pretty calm right now with nothing predicted on the horizon. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Yea?. I'm still having problems maintaining a connection to the Internet ( as the gap in posts will bear out ), but I think I may know what the cause of the problem is. When they fixed al of the other problems this beast was having, the morons at the PC repair center took it upon themselves to install XP Service Pack 2 ( without asking me first)...the Internet connection has been FUCKED ever since. SO.....I'm thinking what I may be able to correct the problem if I simply un-install SP2. God, I hope so, I really miss my Internet. Wish me luck.
