1. Braveheart (1995)
Best Picture & Best Director for a reason.... One of Mel
Gibson's finest performances, on and off the screen. Based
on the legend of Scotland's William Wallace who is said to have
almost single-handedly defeated England and it's King.
|

The true story of Frank Morris (Clint
Eastwood), a convict who was sent to Alcatraz, the most feared

90' tidal wave and is capsized. The Reverend Frank Scott (Gene
Hackman) leads nine survivors (Ernest
Borgnine, Red
Buttons, Roddy
McDowall and Stella
Stevens to name a few) from the grand ballroom struggling
through steam, fire and rising water in the up-side-down ship
to reach the bottom (the propeller shaft), now the top.

5. A Knight's Tale (2001)
Heath
Ledger portrays William, a young squire who takes up his Lord,
Sir Ecter's (Nick
Brimble) lance when he suddenly dies. A wonderful mix of the
modern and medieval. Great use of modern music as a soundtrack.
|
6. In The Line of Fire (1993)
Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan (Clint
Eastwood) couldn't save Kennedy, but he's determined not to
let a clever assassin (John
Malkovich) take out this president. Look for Rene
Russo as Eastwood's partner.

 |
 |
7. True Lies (1994)
Harry Tasker (Arnold
Schwarzenegger) is the United States' top secret agent - so
secret that even his wife doesn't know his occupation; she thinks
he is a computer salesman. Jamie
Lee Curtis looks her absolute best in this thriller.
|
8. Twister (1996)
When Bill (Bill
Paxton) goes to have Jo (Helen
Hunt) sign the divorce papers so he can marry his new girl,
Melissa (Jami
Gertz), Jo finds a collection of record breaking tornados

to helping her with record breaking technology to create a better

9. Ladyhawke (1985)
Captain Etienne Navarre (Rutger
Hauer) is a man on whose shoulders lie a cruel curse. Punished

thief Philippe "the Mouse" Gaston (Matthew
Broderick), they must try to confront the corrupt Bishop (John
Wood) as man and woman and in doing so break the spell.

10. Goldfinger (1964)
Quite possibly Sean
Connery's greatest Bond ever. Auric Goldfinger (Gert
Fröbe), Oddjob (Harold
Sakata), Pussy Galore (Honor
Blackman) and the painted lady make this one to see over and
over and over again.
Bond : Do you expect me to talk, Goldfinger?
Goldfinger : No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!
